In the spring of 2004, two couples met together to discuss the need for a new alternative in education in their community. Their desire was to find a preschool that blended strong Christ centered biblical teaching with excellent academics. This began in August of 2004 with the support of a local church. Quickly, the school and the idea grew. 

The school founders recognized a parent's unique responsibility in actively being involved in the total education of their child. Prayerfully, they agreed to work together to start a new school that represented a different alternative one that incorporated positive aspects from the others educational models while embodying its own special set of distinctives. If they succeeded in addressing their own concerns regarding active parental involvement, it seemed appropriate that they should begin sharing what they learned with other parents who, like them, were seeking better ways to educate and raise their children. The result of their efforts was the formation of Alliance Christian Academy, a private school with plans to serve students in grades K-8 (8th grade will be added in the 2014-2015 school year) from the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and its surrounding areas.
