Developing Lifelong Leaders and Learners, Loving the Lord.

Salt & Light

Salt & Light (5th-8th grade)

“You are the salt of the earth. But what good is salt if it has lost its flavor? Can you make it salty again? It will be thrown out and trampled underfoot as worthless. You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:13-16

SALT & LIGHT VISION
“Developing Lifelong Leaders & Learners, Loving the Lord”

SALT & LIGHT STRATEGY
Our ministry exists to challenge growing students to DISCOVER their ministry,
to CONNECT them with other Christians,
to help them DEVELOP in their faith,
and HONOR God with their life.

Salt (5th-6th grade)

Salt is a servant leadership organization designed to grow and lead students toward an active and growing relationship with Christ. Through trainings on campus, students will begin to learn who they are for Christ, in Christ and finally leading them to see how they serve for Christ. Students will be given multiple populations and service opportunities throughout the year to help lead them to their “sweet spot” in ministry. A Salt student is required to serve at least one time on campus and one time off campus through the year and stay in good academic and character standing.

Light (7th-8th grade)

Light is a servant leadership organization designed to continue to develop where Salt began, a call to service within our students. Ultimately, leading students toward a consistently active and growing relationship with Christ. Through trainings on campus, students will secure who they are for Christ, in Christ and finally leading them to see how they serve for Christ. Students will be given multiple populations and service opportunities throughout the year to help lead them to their “sweet spot” in ministry. A Light student is required to serve at least two times on campus and two times off campus through the year and stay in good academic and character standing.
